Puffer Fish puffed
Puffer Fish are enemies in Pac-Man World (Re-Pac) and Pac-Man World 2 (Re-Pac). They are found in Corsair's Cove and Crisis Cavern.
The Puffer Fish are small, green fish with orange spikes all over their body. When the fish see Pac-Man, they puff up, and extend their spikes. The only way to defeat the Puffer Fish is an underwater Pac-Dot Shoot. Since Pac-Man cannot Pac-Dot Shoot underwater, he needs a Chrome Suit to do it; Pac-Man must aim just right to hit the Puffer Fish while jumping. Furthermore, the Puffer Fish can't be defeated with a Super Pac-Dot Shoot, nor any other form of attack.
Puffer Fish reappear in Pac-Man World 2 and it's Re-Pac where they function similarly as before. In Re-Pac, Pac-Man is able to defeat them with a well-timed Dolphin Kick.

The Puffer Fish are the only underwater enemy (excluding Ghosts) which appear in Mazes Mode.
