Roger is a character from Pac-Man Party. Very little is known about him, other than that he is a robot. His description in Pac-Man Party is "Roger’s a robot who spends time at the Cookie Co. Who made him?" although in Pac-Man Party 3D, he says that he is manufactured by the Cookie Company.^[1]

It is said that he had no emotions, so Pac-Man, Inky, and Blinky teach him how to feel the emotion of fun. He appears in Celebration Avenue, and also claims he is the Cookie Game champion.

Personality

Roger is a robot, and, because of this, he can't understand emotions. And he continued like this until Pac-Man and the Ghost Gang played the Cookie Game, since playing with friends would help to develop emotions. During the duration of the game, Roger begins to feel emotions and is slightly confused about them.^[2] At the ending picture, we see Roger with the others, thus implying that he developed emotions.

Roger seemingly does not know who made him in Pac-Man Party and glitches when being asked^[3] but in Pac-Man Party 3D, fully states that he is manufactured by the Cookie Company.

Roger is shown to be analytical as most other robots are with as an example, him analyzing frogs and their biological class^[4], treating jellybeans as targets^[5] and updating what his current objective to win is at any one moment.^[6]

He also shows himself as wanting to protect others as when Bearserk goes on the attack, he sets everyone's safeness to the highest priority.^[7]

Trivia

• He said that the cake he was guarding in Celebration Avenue was for someone special, but doesn't specify who. In Pac-Man Party 3D, he says that the cakes he guards are for children who are celebrating their birthdays.^[8]
• He acts like a normal robot, saying words like "ERROR" and speaking in a monotonous tone of voice.
• If he wins a mini-game, he does a victory dance of hopping side to side on his feet.
• If he loses a mini-game, he short-circuits and starts to smoke.
• Certain minigames make use of his robotic features, such as his hands to twirl spaghetti with in the minigame, Spaghetti Rollup.
• His design share some traits with the Waddle Doos from the Kirby series.
• Roger's eye socket functions as a vacuum, allowing him to consume food.
• His favorite color is Green.
